The Forum spends a significant amount of money on the upkeep of the car park. This ensures that we have a well-lit, well marked, clean, safe, multi-storey car park in the heart of the city in which people are happy to leave their cars.

 

All companies have expenses like computers, salaries, electricity and heating which contribute to management and overhead costs.

 

Like many other companies in business, we had to borrow money to complete the building. This accounts for the 10% spent on interest and capital repayments.

Origins is a high tech Visitor Attraction and a significant amount of money is spent on its maintenance and upkeep. This ensures that the interactive exhibits are in full working order and that it is a bright, clean environment run by a first class team of fully trained staff.

 

The research and innovation team spend 6% of our total expenditure on cutting edge and innovative technology to enable them to deliver their research projects.

 

To ensure that our events are of the highest quality possible, a significant proportion of money is spent on promotion and marketing.
