Approximately 320,000 car park tickets are processed every year in the car park beneath The Forum. Any equipment failures, for example payment machines, are investigated first by Building Services staff and only referred to an external company if they cannot be fixed in-house.

 

The Forum car park has been accredited to the Park Mark scheme since it opened in 2001 and is reassessed every year. This scheme identifies parking facilities that have been assessed by the police and that have measures in place to deter criminal activity and create a safer environment for customers.  

 

Building Services staff use CCTV to monitor the facilities at all times and regular patrols are carried out to ensure that the car park remains, safe, clean and in good working order at all times.
