The Research and Innovation unit within The Forum Trust has carried out a range of research and development in support of the continuing growth of The Forum Trust’s services over the past 7 years.
The department had a particular emphasis on the areas of learning, culture, heritage, economic regeneration, personal development, work, leisure, and the application of new technology. Areas of activity included e-learning, on-line communities, heritage content and related service developments.
The Research and Innovation unit undertook consultancy work for a range of clients both locally and nationally such as Creative Partnerships, HEART, and the Department for Skills and Education. The department also worked in collaboration with a number of European partners on a range of heritage and digital technology related projects.
